Rules and policies are in place to make sure your child remains safe and well at school.
Visit the NSW Department of Education’s policy library for all current operational policies.
Our school uses the department's School Community Charter to ensure all of our communication is collaborative and respectful.
Attendance and absences
Students must attend school regularly so they can achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options.
In NSW, all children from the age of 6 are legally required to attend school or be registered for home schooling through the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). All students must complete Year 10, or its equivalent and remain in school, employment or training until they turn 17.
For more information about compulsory school attendance, visit:
All Kindergarten to Year 6 students will need a hat, a library bag, suitable rainwear (please no umbrellas) and a painting shirt.
If your child has no hat, then sitting in the shade is the school's requirement. We do strongly recommend that your child wears his/her hat to school throughout the year. Please note that this should be a school hat.
Parents are urged to ensure that all clothing is clearly marked with the child's name, shoes and socks included. Students are urged to recover lost property from the designated lost property area.
Lost property is located next to the canteen. Lost property is returned if the item is named, otherwise items are sent to Stewart House for recycling at the end of each term.
We would like to Acknowledge the Kuringa & Dharug people of our nation who are the traditional custodians of this land. We would also like to pay respect to Elders both past and present and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people present.
